The Boys' Brigade
We are currently meeting at the The Park School, Onslow Crescent, Woking GU22 7AT.
If you have or know of a boy between 5 and 18 years who would enjoy some fun adventure and friendship, we have the organisation for you.
Come along and join us on Monday evenings.
Anchors 5 - 8 years at 6.15 - 7.15 pm
Juniors 8 - 11 years at 6.15 - 7.30 pm
Co. Section & Seniors 11 - 18 years at 7.30 - 9.00 pm
We follow a varied structured programme which includes Badge Work that can eventully lead to boys gaining their Presidents Badge and Queens Badge in the Company Section.
Activities for Anchors include games, handicrafts, stories etc., and meeting other boys in the Battalion for fou and sports.
Juniors can take part in games, Battalion competitions, music, drama, figure marching and art.
The Company Section have similar competitions as the juniors, but they also have cross country, table tennis, football, first aid, wide games, chess and orienteering. On a Company night there are additional activities such as volley ball, drill, cricket, band and snooker.
We have a camp/holiday every year for Juniors and Company Section boys where we participate in archery, canoeing, raft building, abseiling and many other outdoor persuits.
We are a Christian Organisation, the oldest uniformed organisation in the world, and welcome all boys no matter what their faith.
