MidweekPrayers for Help and Healing

10am every Thursday

This prayer meeting is currently taking place at St Paul's Church, Oriental Rd, Woking GU22 7BD.

Every Thursday morning at 10.00am for about 20 minutes a group of people meet in the Church Lounge for a short act of worship. At this Prayer Meeting we bring before God the names of those known to have special needs, anxieties, distress or sickness.

On the third Thursday of the month the prayer meeting includes Holy Communion, usually conducted by our Minister.

A book is placed at the back of the sanctuary to receive names of family members, friends and acquaintances who have the need of God's power and love to help them over a difficult time. Some names are brought to the meetings themselves.

The URC Prayer Handbook is used as a basis for these devotions and as a focus of the troubles of the wider world.

Taking place at Members homes during the redevelopment of church premises.

Prayers for the life of the church and the local area in the church lounge.
